The Golden raisins from South Africa come from the same vine that the sultana grape. Treated to obtain their beautiful amber colour, this raisin has a very intense and fruity flavour, with a hint of natural bitterness. They are also extremely rich in iron, fiber, phophorus, vitamins B2 and B6 and antioxidants.
These raisins are wonderful for adding to cereal or trail mix, and just for snacking on. Try cooking and baking with these raisins and add them to your cakes, muffins, brioches, cookies, raisin rolls. You can also add it to your savoury dishes like couscous or tajines.
Ingredients : raisins 100%. May contain other nuts and conservative agent : sulfites E220.
Direction of use : All our dried fruits are high-quality and at fair price,from the best places in the world (Piemont hazelnut, Marcona and Valencia almond, Perigord wazelnut, Sicilia pistachio, ...). For this reason we have chosen a bigger packaging than what you can find at the supermarket (about four times dearer and of lower quality). As dried fruits contain not much water, they can be kept in the fridge or freezer.
