The ‘Nocciola del Piemonte’ (hazelnut from Piedmont), with its spherical shape, is characterized by a fine and delicate flavour, with a very crisp pulp. Its cultivation has been introduced in the ‘Alta Langa’ area and then has spread across the Piedmont, blending with the oenological landscape of this land. It first appeared in the carnaval of 1865 when the Turin confectioners created the Guanduiotti chocolates and the famous Gianduja. Since then, the Piedmont hazelnut has become a legend : it is appreciated and considered by the gourmets as the "Queen of hazelnuts".
You can add it to your cakes, muffins, brownies, tarts, salads or create pralinés, Gianduja and chocolate fillings.

Direction of use :All our dried fruits are high-quality and at fair price,from the best places in the world (Piemont hazelnut, Marcona and Valencia almond, Perigord wazelnut, Sicilia pistachio, ...). For this reason we have chosen a bigger packaging than what you can find at the supermarket (about four times dearer and of lower quality). As dried fruits contain not much water, they can be kept in the fridge or freezer.
